Photo Collage - Very Psychedelic Flower Laser Rainbow with Queen Anne's Lace Theme with Laser and Peace Signs (if you can find them) - Massive Collage

Queen Anne's Lace Flower Laser Rainbows - Psychedelic Flower Collage - be sure to zoom in by clicking or get the larger image below - Photo art and photos by Mike Fisk - all photos and music are copyrighted

Here's a new massive photo collage based on recent photos of Queen Anne's Lace (a weed from around here) and previous photo collages. It's packed with stuff for you to find if so inclined(many surprises for you to devine... time for me to stop the rhyme). I'm planning on doing another flower rainbow photo collage (even though they take a lot of work to complete).

If you are grooving on the image, you might want to click this link to see a much bigger image and download it for zooming in:

Strange Photo of asteroid about to hit building? Or an Upside down or upside up Building Reflection in a Pond at Parkplace in Autumn in Wisconsin?

Upside down building during Autumn in Wisconsin?... or is it an asteroid about to hit a building? Autumn reflections on the a still pond in 2008 at Parkplace in Milwaukee, WI. Photos by Mike Fisk

Just some weird shots I took. The pond was so still that I thought I'd play around with the reflections. I hope you dig the weirdness and enjoy all the oddities this site contains. Please explore and have an awesome week! I'll post more later in the week. The song is brand new. Yep, that's me on the drums. Not sure if I'll add vocals to it or not. I'm just trying to accumulate stuff for a new album. Enjoy.

Oh and here's more pics of the building:

Photos of Marquette Interchange in Winter, Feb 2008, Milwaukee...27 Miles To Go Song from April Practice... when in doubt rock out!

27 Miles To Go (Lover's Game Tonight) -mp3

See now the post of 2 days ago makes sense, huh?

After we got done with Slinky Slider, we went right away into this song. I did a little digital editing to get it work. So this is another tune from our April 2008 practice.

I wasn't able to really get what Bradly was saying lyrically, but I was able to pull out enough to name the tune. And that inspired me to post these pics of the Marquette Interchange in Milwaukee. Fits in with my tradition of posting some winter images in summer and summer images in winter. It's going be like 90 degrees today. So enjoy the cold images, eh?

The tunes a bit of a punky mess, but I dig it. I hope you do to. It's our Friday gift to you. Enjoy the tune and enjoy your weekend.

Winter Fading In Wisconsin-Ice Beneath the Snow - Soul Amp releases new song/video - No Voodoo drummer this time - piano, acoustic guitar, Hammond M3

Snow and Ice in Milwaukee WI - Jan 2008 - photo by Mike Fisk

Snow and Ice in Milwaukee WI - Jan 2008 - photo by Mike Fisk - soul-amp.com"Winter's Bones Begin to Show"

Bradly and I were able to get together for a Soul Amp practice tonight. Our Voodoo Drummer, M2, could not make it tonight. (M2, check out the orbs in that pic...pretty cool eh?)

Bradly had a chord progression in mind and so we ended up writing this short tune. Bradly actually wrote some lyrics down this time and we made a couple of changes to them and did about three takes.

It's a song that has to do some with the reluctant release of winter's grip on us (it's been many months since we've had a decent thaw and now the snow is finally melting some after the 4th snowiest winter in Milwaukee so far). But there's more to it than that.... you'll have to listen to find out.

It has piano (off the Nord Electro 2), Hammond M3, and acoustic guitar.

It may be the shortest tune we've ever done.

Here ya go:

Horizons They Are Gonna Meet You - Wisconsin Jam Band, Soul Amp Experience, Releases alt country scratch tune... more than a bit farty in places...

Here's a new one for you that was recorded in September 2007 by Bradly and myself. It's a first take (or rather an only take), so it's a bit rough. It was recorded using the Hammond M3 and Bradly's Strat using the Zoom H4 as per the usual these days. It's a song about driving through the desert... not sure where (not necessarily the Arizona desert) and about getting through life's troubles and how there is always another day or something like that... sh*t I've said too much already... just take a listen... you'll want to listen to this at least twice before it's sinks in some... so don't just hate it right away... give it a chance to breath... there's some farty stuff in there.... we probably should have called the band Fart Proudly.... well here's goes and enjoy:
