Photos of Five (5) Cubic Yards of Top Soil Sitting in a Drive Way in June with a Wheel Barrel and a Sore Back (hahahaha) - Soul Amp Music to Listen To

Here's what 5 cubic yards of top soil looks like. Isn't that stuff black and wonderful? It really help create some beautiful tomatoes which I've stuff myself on for weeks.

It took about 50 wheel barrels full to move (actually I lost count, so that's an estimate).

And here's a new song. You can put in on your iPod to listen to while moving dirt:

Check out my diatribe on mulching your leaves instead of bagging and land filling them (although this year I'll be throwing them on the garden as well!

Shoe on Frozen Shore - Images of Ice with Sunrise as a backdrop on Lake Michigan in March 2009 - A New Soul Amp Song to Twist Up Your Strange Mind

Here's stange photo of a shoe on Lake Michigan's shore in the morning. Next to it is a bit of ice shaped like Texas, right? Quite odd. Also, check out the bits of ice that form weird natural sculptures through wave action. The sunrise adds to the shots, do you think.

Listen for the shoe mention in this new song, "Big Flat Blaze":

Hi Mom!!

Photos of Natural Ice Sculptures on Lake Michigan at Sunrise in the winter of 2009... New Big Fat Blaze Song from Soul Amp... Ice, Colors, and Music

Ah, more natural ice sculptures on Lake Michigan at sunrise from March 2009. It is so interesting the way nature creates stuff we can appreciate no matter how fleeting it and we are. So grab this moment and enjoy. And check out the crazy shoe (which is kind of sad, huh?) and listen closely to the song cause this very shoe gets mentioned. Can't tell you what the song means exactly, because that would be giving away too much, but you can piece together bits of it if you listen closely.

So here's the debut of the new song, "Big Flat Blaze":
