Metra train reversible chairs
So they have these chairs on the Metra train from Kenosha to Chicago that they can reverse.... At first I thought the purpose was that you could face each other. We tried that and it doesn't work when you have 4 people because there is no room for each others legs. Eventually I figured it out. The chairs reverse so that the train doesn't have to turn around or the riders have to face backward on the return trip. On the way back, after being exhausted from walking around Chicago and if the train is fairly empty, you can reverse one of the seats and put your legs on the seat across from you for napping.... it's not the best, but when you're 6 feet tall, it's about the only option (or you can rest your head against the dirty window)...
