Here's more late autumn forest pics in moon light like the ones posted earlier today. I dig the picnic table that got crushed by the tree. The exposures were about a minute (about the time it took me to run around with the flashlight).

Pointed the flashlight down to get the below effect. Neat, huh? Another of the crushed picnic table.

Here's a song for a moonlit forest in autumn:

These photos were taken in Greenfield park at the end of autumn. The leaves have all fallen and a 3/4 moon is out to cast shadows. I used a flashlight to paint the scene. If I hadn't told you that, would you have figure out where the lights on the ground were coming from?

It was so dark that without the flashlight I couldn't make out much of anything. The lights make it kind of "elfin", huh? A picnic pavillion.

Here's an odd confessional/seeking/searching type song. You might like it, you might hate it. Not sure how I feel about it, but it sure the heck matches the pics... you have to at least agree about that... right? So take it out for a listen:

I know this next photo is a cliche....so what?... it fires my spark plugs with the sun and all that... and it was pain to take (lots of trial and error). (You try holding a camera with one hand and catch a leaf with the other...=) ) Besides the tree shooting to the sky in the background is also pretty interesting.

But I bet a lot of you like it. Seems kind of hopeful, doesn't it? So am I catching the leaf, or am I throwing it? Right? shhhhh....don't tell anyone... I'm throwing it.

I think the next two pics are even better. Leaves floating in the air at sunrise as the trees spin above. I think I may have to try that it again. It came out quite nicely.).

The pics were taken last year when I had this great idea (in my mind at least... and not very original at that) to take some pics of autumn leaves with the sunrise in the background and using a flash to highlight the leaves. It seemed to work all right and I think I like these photos. They're kind of cool... not maybe as cool as the last couple of posts, but cool is cool. I hope you dig them and enjoy the crazy love song (above).
